Not a rant so much as a funny coincidence when we
started playing at the Bayou...think about that for a second.
Did you know that the Bogalusa Blues Band was the first band to play at
the Bayou when they opened? Did you also know that we were the ...well,
not really last to play there at it's original location...more like 2nd to
last, I think...
...What is important is what happened when we did...I would try to tell
people and this is how it would come out:
Okay, well, I'm banging on the bass with the Bogalusa
Blues Band boppin' the blues at the Bayou Blues Bar at the Bottom of Bank,...
(wht the hell did I just say???)
...so buy a beer from Buu the bartender in the back and get bomed, buddy...
(uh??)
...now, Bob's the boss, and Bernie the bartender's a buddy...
...but don't bug Bruce Blair behind the board...
...he's busy...
